The future of PS3

Playstation 3 is a very powerful console and a very expensive one. People who bought a PS3 are usually big Playstation fans. The truth is that anyone who would want to buy a console to play games on would probably go for something cheaper.
Very unfortunate for Sony, the sponsors see this; they see how much they invest in the machine and compare that to the profit. With this information at their hands they say they might have to reconsider sponsoring Playstation 3 and that they might only invest in Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii because it’s simply more profitable.

While this is very unfortunate for Sony, and they’re being afraid of losing sponsors, Sony have claimed that the future will look more bright for Playstation 3, mostly because of E3.
